Discovery and Jeep invite viewers to buckle up and enjoy the ride of a lifetime across some of Canada’s most pictureque landscapes, pristine wilderness, and rugged outback in an all-new digital series Life is Calling, starting Monday, July 20 on Discovery.ca. In the exclusive eight-episode series, hosts Roberto and Bella invite viewers to explore historic, and adventurous destinations – a wonderland of scenic gems tucked away in the far corners of Canada. The popular and energetic duo, known for their pioneering forays across far-flung destinations – are the perfect chaperones on this immersive and engaging road trip off the beaten path. Life is Calling is accompanied by an interactive and immersive digital-exclusive experience at discovery.ca/LifeIsCalling in English Canada, and LaVieVousAppelle.ca in French Canada.
Along for the ride through the great Canadian outdoors is Jeep Canada, Discovery’s exclusive partner in the development of this unique series. The journey across some of Canada’s most surprising back roads and remote trails is made possible by the superior off-road handling of Roberto and Bella’s Jeep Cherokee and Jeep Renegade. Capturing unsurpassed views, the expert tour guides confidently navigate the breathtaking Canadian outdoors, connecting with local experts to capture added context in each location. Life is Calling delivers the adrenaline punch of a cross-country drive along with beautifully cinematic images and landscapes, presenting an up-close and personal look at Canada that evokes the spirit of a documentary short film.
